Our mission is to minister awareness to drivers and pray that our education may save the lives of those we love and to save the souls of those who love.
No one should have to mourn a family member or friend from something that could have been easily avoided. Pay Attention While Driving (P.A.W.D.) has been born out of a tragic death. My beautiful daughter was killed in a motor vehicle accident that simply put, if the driver was paying attention, the incident would have been avoided and my daughter and her father would still be with us. It was a tragic event that broke the hearts of hundreds of people. Motor vehicle accidents kill over 40 thousand people every year! We need to lower that number drastically! Motor vehicle drivers need to have a better understanding of the responsibility they have while driving. If drivers have passengers in their vehicle, they are essentially responsible for those lives! Can you even imagine the feeling of living with knowing that just because you weren’t paying attention while driving, you lost the life of your friend, mom, dad, sister, brother? That’s a haunting burden to carry! One that possibly could be avoided if everyone just P.A.W.D.

Driving is a HUGE responsibility! With all of todays distractions, being on the road is just plain dangerous. It only takes a fraction of a second for and ordinary drive to turn deadly. Don’t think that it can’t happen to you. It can! You’ve heard the common phrase that is associated with motorcycles ~”Think Twice. Save a Life.” Just stop and think! Whatever fell on the floor or between the seats can wait to be picked up. You don’t need to save that french-fry right then and there! You shouldn’t be trying to eat that burger and fries while your driving anyway! You can change the song when its safe to do so. Your hair looks fine! No need to check it. Shave before you leave the house! Yes, there are people who actually shave in the car! Selfies while driving? Um…NO! Do you really need to do your makeup in the car while your driving? That’s a big NO! Give yourself time to get it done before you leave the house. Yes, that is a big buck! Is it an 8 point? 10? Come on! If you need to count the points pull over! And for goodness sakes, Stop Texting!!!!
PAY ATTENTION!!!
Just taking that extra second to ask yourself “Is this worth risking my life for?” The answer is NO! “Is this worth risking someone else’s life for?” The answer is NO! “Can it wait?” The answer is always YES!
Could you live with the fact that your carelessness caused a death of someone you loved? How would you feel if you or someone you love was seriously injured or killed by someone else’s careless distraction? Think about that for a second… Do you want to be that person? I live everyday wishing the person that was driving my daughter was paying attention. If ONLY he was just paying attention! My daughter would still be alive! It was 100% the fault of distracted driving! 100% avoidable! 100% AVOIDABLE!!!
